How To Get Involved

What is Day of Giving?

NC State Day of Giving is an annual, daylong fundraising event that typically takes place in March. It’s a day devoted to bringing the entire Wolfpack together for 24 hours of friendly competition, fun challenges and, of course, #GivingPack — all to make a difference for our students, faculty, research, programs and more.

Who are Pack Leaders?

NC State graduate students wearing black caps and gowns with red sashes pose for a photo during commencement at Carter Finley stadium.

Pack Leaders are enthusiastic alumni, family members and friends of NC State who want to ignite that passion for our university in others.

Inspire more people to give a gift via your link. The more people give, the more exclusive Pack Leader swag you’ll win.

Dean Pfaendtner’s Challenge to You

$15,000 is up for grabs.

The department leaderboard challenge is back! Our nine engineering departments are competing to see who can raise the most number of gifts for a share of $10,000. The more gifts to your department’s enhancement fund, the more of the challenge prize they’ll win!

On Instagram, the departments have teamed up to see who can get the most votes on March 25. On the college’s Instagram story, vote in the poll for the team you want to win $5,000.

New this year – Dean’s Hide & Seek Student Challenge. At 12:30 p.m. on Day of Giving, March 25th, Dean Pfaendtner will be hiding somewhere on Centennial Campus for one hour. The first student to find him will win a $5,000 contribution for the NC State research project of their choice.
