ASCEND Career Fair

Hosted by Advocates for Student Communities through Engagement, Networking and Development (ASCEND) – formerly known as WMEP – this networking event will bring together companies and candidates to connect and network in an informal setting before the Engineering Career Fair. 

The ASCEND program in the College of Engineering will be hosting the ASCEND Career Fairs on September 28, 2026 and February 1, 2027 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Talley Student Union, State Ballroom.

Registration and Fees

Please note that employers must be registered for the Engineering Career Fair in order to attend the ASCEND Career Fair.

Registration Fee: $695 (Required per company)

Advocates for Student Communities through Engagement, Networking and Development (ASCEND)

Our Engineering ASCEND team are advocates for student communities and we aim to create a welcoming, supportive environment where our students feel a strong sense of belonging on campus, and in the Engineering profession, which contributes towards academic success.

We accomplish this goal through intentional engagement and thoughtful community-building with our students, alumni, and industry partners. We offer networking and research experiences, service opportunities abroad, academic and professional development, support for student organizations (such as AISES, NSBE, SHPE, and SWE), and much more.
