On Day of Giving, alumni, parents, faculty and staff members, students and friends of the college gave 1,515 gifts totalling $8,165,279. But more important than the numbers are the spirit behind the gifts and the causes they go to support.

“On this NC State Day of Giving, we are proud to support a scholarship endowment within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, honoring the incredible achievements within the College of Engineering and investing in the next generation of innovators. This endowment ensures that future students can carry forward our legacy, driving design and innovation beyond the walls of our university. Together, we strengthen the Pack!”

“If you have a desire to give back, the first thing you need to do is learn more about the university, learn more about your department, learn more about what has changed. So get engaged. You’ll get increased confidence through engagement and learning more about the tremendous value that your alma mater provides each and every day.”

Electrical Engineering

“In 1985, I ventured out from a quaint mountain town in North Carolina, embarking on a journey to North Carolina State University to pursue an electrical engineering degree. The early days were overwhelming, filled with eye-opening experience and invaluable education. Professionally, the rigorous academic training at NC State equipped me with the technical skills and problem-solving abilities needed to excel in my career. Today, I want to give back and help accelerate future students’ journeys.”

Mark your calendars for March 2026 when we’re #GivingPack again.
