Parking and Directions
NC State is about 3 miles west of downtown Raleigh and 12 miles southeast of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. It can be reached by way of I-40 and I-440. The Office of the Dean of Engineering is in Fitts-Woolard Hall located at 915 Partners Way on Centennial Campus.
University visitors may park in any hourly pay lot or parking meter located throughout our campus and some nearby streets. Visitors parked in these areas must pay the appropriate parking rates.
As an alternative, visitors may purchase daily permits from NC State’s Transportation Office at 2721 Sullivan Drive. The Transportation Customer Service unit operates from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the phone number is 919.515.3424.
Maps and directions are also available at Visitor Information Booths on Stinson Drive (North Campus) and Varsity Drive (Centennial Campus).
