How to Write a Hook Statement
Thursday, February 20, 2025, 12-1 PM
Fitts Woolard Hall, Room TBD
Join Dr. Kirsti Cole and Dr. Roy Schwartzman from the Campus and Writing Speaking Program (CWSP) of the Office for Faculty Excellence for a dynamic Lunch and Learn session on crafting an impactful hook statement for your entrepreneurial mindset class project. A strong hook grabs attention, sparks curiosity, and sets the stage for innovative thinking. Dr. Cole and Dr. Schwartzman will share strategies for writing compelling openings that connect with your audience and introduce key entrepreneurial concepts such as creativity, problem-solving, and resilience. Whether you’re presenting a project or starting a class discussion, you’ll leave with practical tips to make your message stand out.
