The Wolfpack Engineering Unleashed Certificate Program
WEU has developed a five-tier certificate program open to all faculty and staff at NCSU. Applying is quick and easy and helps us build the community.
The Program
The Wolfpack Engineering Unleashed (WEU) Certificate program recognizes the accomplishments of NC State employees which align with the mission of the WEU network to teach with the 6 C’s. Participants of this program are encouraged to grow and develop their pedagogy, teaching and learning with WEU concepts. This program celebrates this journey and its positive impact at NC State University.

Anyone at NC State interested in improving and enhancing
student engagement.
Application Process
- 5 certificate levels (bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond)
available with a set of milestones to complete. - Apply to the certificate, online, using the application form that
corresponds to the level you want to apply for. - Links to the application forms are shared below
- Applications are accepted year-round.

The 5 Levels of the WEU Certificate Program
- Bronze Level
- Learn the fundamentals of the 6 C’s.
- Milestones: A quiz and a reflection question.
- Silver Level
- Implement of the 6 Cs in an activity or module
- Milestones: Show evidence of activity/module implementation
- Gold Level
- Publish your experiences after implementing an activity or module.
- Milestones: Share your published work.
- Platinum Level
- Coach other faculty on integrating the 6 C’s and promote the use of the 6 C’s.
- Milestones: Document your impact as a coach, a leader and/or a contributor to integrating the 6 C’s.
- Diamond Level
- Lead the WEU program at NC State and beyond!
- Milestones: Show leadership towards sustaining, growing and developing the WEU program, and create value for the WEU network and KEEN.
Eligibility
Anyone at NC State interested in improving and enhancing student engagement is eligible. Application process for 5 certificate levels (bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond) available with a set of milestones to complete. Apply online to a certificate using the application form that corresponds to the level you want to apply for. Applications are accepted year-round.
