NC State researchers: show us what you’re working on

NC State is calling on graduate students, undergraduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff to take part in Envisioning Research, the university’s annual research image contest. Help us highlight the beauty and importance of the work being done at the bench and in the field, both on campus and around the world. (And, yes, there are cash prizes.)

Envisioning research: NC State wants to put your research on display

We know you are doing the work, now we want you to share it.

First place for video among graduate students and postdocs goes to Tyler Allen, a Ph.D. student in NC State’s Comparative Biomedical Sciences program, for the glowing video he titled “Heart of Gold,” showing how researchers study zebrafish hearts for their potential to help humans with heart diseases. (The video can be seen at the top of this post.)
