On Manufacturing Day, Commerce Secretary to Present Governor’s Proclamation

On October 3, at 8 a.m. at James B. Hunt Library on the NC State University Centennial Campus, Secretary of Commerce Sharon Decker will present a proclamation from Governor Pat McCrory honoring Manufacturing Day in North Carolina.

Chancellor Randy Woodson and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker have been added as featured speakers on Friday at NC State’s celebration of National Manufacturing Day on Centennial Campus.

Campus Events Tout Manufacturing Oct. 4

Since the day it opened its doors in 1892, NC State has been the largest contributor to the state’s traditional manufacturing base. That history, and North Carolina’s bright future in high-tech American-made manufacturing, will be on display Friday, Oct. 4, during the second-annual National Manufacturing Day on Centennial Campus.
