Goodnight Scholars Program celebrates the graduating class of 2022

For the first time since 2019, the Goodnight Scholars Program was able to host our graduation gala in-person at Reynolds Coliseum. Attendees included graduating scholars, their guests, and members of the Goodnight community.

Goodnight Scholars Spotlight: Gerardo Morado

Goodnight Scholar Spotlight: Danielle Cain

When senior Danielle Cain T’22 was younger, she was given the nickname “Journey” by her grandmother because she was “constantly on the go” between school and extracurricular activities! Although Danielle explains that “Journey” has phased out, the nickname still adamantly represents her path in life.

Goodnight Scholar Spotlight: Kerrington Shade

Amid her many accomplishments at NC State, Kerrington Shade '21 holds "overcoming the challenges of and uncertainties of switching [majors] to an unfamiliar field of study" among the highest. Originally an Applied Mathematics major, Kerrington switched into the Mechanical Engineering program with the goal of working on real-world applications through the mathematical lenses that she has grown to appreciate.
