Work has begun on Fitts-Woolard Hall, the College’s newest building on NC State’s Centennial Campus. The new home of the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering and the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering represents a new funding paradigm for the College and for NC State.

The University on Friday broke ground on Fitts-Woolard Hall, which comes as the result of a $25 million gift from alumni Edward P. Fitts Jr. and Edgar S. Woolard Jr.
