The Alcoa Foundation Engineering Research Awards for 2011 were presented to Dr. Veena Misra, professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Dr. Michael J. Krute named ASEE Fellow

Dr. Linda Krute, Director of the Engineering Online distance education program at North Carolina State University, has been named to the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Academy of Fellows.
