Westmoreland receives 2017 AIChE Institute Award

Dr. Phil Westmoreland, professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NC State University, has been named the 2017 recipient of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Institute Award for Excellence in Industrial Gases Technology.

Velev receives professional progress award from AIChE

Dr. Orlin Velev, INVISTA Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor at NC State University, has been named the recipient of the 2017 Andreas Acrivos Award for Professional Progress in Chemical Engineering by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

Seniors showcase projects, seek to impress celebrity judge at Engineering Design Day

As part of a semester-long research project, senior engineering students at North Carolina State University displayed their research, prototypes and data at the annual Engineering Design Day in Talley Student Union on May 3.
