College appoints assistant dean for student, faculty and staff equity and inclusion

Angelitha Daniel will start as the NC State College of Engineering's inaugural assistant dean for student, faculty and staff equity and inclusion on Aug. 1. Daniel is currently the director of the College of Engineering’s Minority Engineering Program (MEP) and since July 2020 has also served as a special advisor to the dean for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Five engineering faculty members receive CAREER Awards

Five members of the faculty of the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University have received Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2022. The award is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty members in science and engineering.
