Roberts named director of recruiting, enrollment management and education partnerships
Dr. Kim G. Roberts is the new director of recruiting, enrollment management and educational partnerships in the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University. The position is based in the College’s Office of Academic Affairs.
Roberts will oversee all aspects of student recruiting programs, serve as the primary contact and liaison with the university’s Office of Admissions and the Joyner Visitor Center, and oversee enrollment and curricular elements of the College’s 2+2, 3+2 and community college educational partnerships.
Roberts has worked in the College’s Academic Affairs office for the past seven years, serving as coordinator of transfer admissions, advising and mentoring students and overseeing other projects. Before coming to NC State, she worked in the biotechnology industry as a Research Director at Alditri Technologies, Inc.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and Spanish language and literature from North Carolina State University and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware.
Roberts succeeds Alice Forgety, who retired from the position at the end of 2016.
