College of Engineering welcomes new executive assistant to dean’s office
Wendy Francis is the new executive assistant to Dr. Louis Martin-Vega, Dean of the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University.
Francis replaces Melissa Puryear, who has since moved on to pursue other interests.
Francis has nearly 22 years of experience working in North Carolina state government, with seven of those years spent at NC State. She has also worked in the NC Department of Health and Human Services and spent 10 years with Carolina Power & Light Company. Before joining the College of Engineering, she worked as executive assistant in the North Carolina Office of State Controller for seven years.
Kathy Moritz served as the Martin-Vega’s interim executive assistant during the interim period and has since returned to retirement status.
