OFDS Faculty Development and Community Funding Request

The College of Engineering Office of Faculty Development and Success (OFDS) provides funding to support faculty in the following areas:

  • ASEE Conference Participation (up to $1000)
  • Faculty Development Initiatives (e.g., workshops, guest speakers)
  • Faculty Community-Building Activities (e.g., reading groups, learning communities)

Please complete the request form below. All submissions will be reviewed by the OFDS team.

Before You Begin

ASEE Conference Participation

  • Faculty may request up to $1000 for the 2026 ASEE Annual Conference in Charlotte, NC (June 21–24, 2026).
  • Priority is given to those who are presenting, facilitating, or serving in ASEE leadership.
  • Be ready to include your paper or session title, if applicable, and links to papers or sessions.

Faculty Development Initiative Funding

  • For events supporting faculty growth in teaching, research, mentoring, or leadership.
  • You’ll be asked to paste a link to your proposal in the form.

Faculty Community Building Funding

  • OFDS provides $500 in seed funding for one new faculty community per faculty member per year.
  • You’ll be asked to paste a link to your proposal in the form.
