At the heart of the EngEx Mentor Network Program, the MCA framework helps mentors and mentees build strong, purposeful, and intentional mentoring relationships.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The six core competencies are:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintaining Effective Communication&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aligning Expectations&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessing Understanding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addressing Well-Being&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting Professional Development&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fostering Independece&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We use the MCA Framework to shape our workshops, guide self-assessments, and structure feedback conversations.
