New Faculty Reception

Louis Martin-Vega Dean of Engineering Dean Jim Pfaendtner hosted a New Faculty Reception on January 27, 2025 at Trophy Brewing Co, Maywood Hall & Garden to celebrate the unique contributions of the college’s newest engineering faculty and highlight their significance to the college. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with the dean and indulge in tasty Mediterranean cuisine while catching up with colleagues and meeting new connections. In alignment with the dean’s objective, college leaders, associate deans Kara Peters, Chris Frey and Joel Ducoste and assistant deans Mike Walker, Shannon Williams and Marissa Langford were in attendance to support new faculty.

The dean took a moment during the evening to reiterate his commitment to cultivating a supportive community that prioritizes well-being and Joel Ducoste from the Office of Faculty Development and Success echoed his office’s dedication to providing comprehensive support for the engineering faculty.
