How to Apply for the BD Fellowship

Eligibility

Before you apply for the BD Fellowship, please make sure you meet the eligibility criteria identified above, including being accepted to a STEM graduate program at NC State.  Admission to graduate study at NC State is granted by the Graduate School.

Apply Online

Once you have applied to a STEM graduate program at NC State and you satisfy all the other eligibility criteria, you can complete the online application to be considered for the BD Fellowship.

Instead of applying online, you can complete a fillable PDF application.

Apply by Mail

Once you have completed it, print, sign and mail it to Robyn Fillinger at the following address along with supporting documents:

Application Requirements

A complete application packet must include:

  • Names of Three (3) References (the ones used for your graduate school application).  Please include both names and email addresses.
  • Personal Statement (the one used for your graduate school application)
  • Unofficial Transcript of Degree Relevant to Graduate Program

For early consideration, apply by January 15, 2019.
